Tracy is the guiding force of the firm. Her focus remains on leading a client-centric, results-driven alternative investment firm. She is armed with prior experience from Goldman Sachs Asset Management, RogersCasey Strategic Consulting Group, and Wilshire Associates. Tracy was awarded the CFA charter in 1992.
Craig leads our investment team, which he has built since joining Corbin in 2002. He works on all aspects of our investment process with a special focus on implementation capabilities, co-investments and direct investing efforts, as well as new initiatives. Craig previously worked at Grantham Mayo Van Otterloo, Salomon Smith Barney, and Morgan Stanley and was awarded the CFA charter in 1997.
Anthony oversees all operations, operational due diligence, technology, legal, and financial reporting matters at Corbin. He previously held various positions at top financial services firms, including Blackstone, Muzinich, and Citicorp. He was awarded the CFA charter in 1996.
Daniel helps Corbin identify and mitigate risks and is responsible for overseeing all legal and compliance-related matters for the firm. He previously worked at Willkie Farr and Gallagher LLP, where he focused on the alternative investment management industry.
Rob leads Corbin’s portfolio construction process for commingled fund of funds products. He is also responsible for research on global macro, and works alongside the CIO on research of credit strategies. Rob previously worked at Optima Fund Management and BlackRock.
Gwen cultivates strategic client relationships and guides the firm’s marketing, brand strategy and communication. She identifies clients’ needs and works in consultation with them to determine the best solutions. Gwen is armed with prior experience from Goldman Sachs Asset Management and Carnegie Capital Asset Management Company.
Christina focuses on the people, culture and organizational needs of the firm. She develops and executes the firm’s human resource strategy, fostering an inclusive work environment that is focused on maintaining a collaborative, challenging, and invested team. Christina previously worked at the San Francisco-based investment bank, Robertson Stephens.
Adriana is responsible for fundamental research and investment sourcing, and manages several custom portfolios. She is particularly focused on non-US geographies, including Europe and Asia, and was based in Europe for two years while working for Corbin, which lends to her global network and international investment lens. Adriana previously worked at Goldman Sachs and JPMorgan.
John co-manages Corbin’s credit strategies, focusing on corporate and asset-back special investments. He is especially active in the sourcing and underwriting of the firm’s private co-investments, drawing on his industry network and analytical background. John has prior experience working at UBS and Bluestem Asset Management and was awarded the CFA charter in 2007.
Alan is responsible for managing customized portfolios and overseeing the risk management and quantitative analysis functions. Alan is a member of the Investment Committee and the Hedging and Allocation Committee. Prior to joining Corbin in May 2011, Alan was a principal and head of investment strategies at Antarctica Asset Management, a fund of hedge funds. Prior to Antarctica, he served as head of portfolio management at Ivy Asset Management. He also served as the director of hedge fund investments at the Social Security Administration of the Government of Kuwait. He began his career at JP Morgan in emerging markets. Alan received a Sc.B. in Electrical Engineering, magna cum laude, from Brown University and an M.B.A. in Finance from The Wharton School.
Matt is responsible for managing the firm’s research process, and has primary coverage of certain long/short equity strategies. His prior work experience includes Asgard Capital Management, Archery Capital, Goldman Sachs, and Arthur Andersen.
Steve manages the financial functions of the firm and oversees accounting, finance, and tax-related matters. He previously served in similar capacities at increasing levels at SG Asset Management, Safra Asset Management, Prudential Securities, and Ernst & Young LLP.
Cesar structures and negotiates private transactions across several asset classes, with a particular focus on private lending, structured credit and general co-investment opportunities. He also assists in any related work-outs. Prior to joining Corbin, Cesar worked at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP and Ivy Asset Management.
